Boston Victim Of Coronavirus Still In Isolation

State public health officials are confirming the first coronavirus case in Massachusetts.

Officials say a man returning to the state from Wuhan, China tested positive for the virus Friday night.

The man sought medical care soon after returning to Massachusetts and remains in isolation.

The Department of Public Health says the risk to the general public in Massachusetts remains extremely low.

Logan International Airport will not be receiving passengers from China anytime soon.

The last passengers from China arrived at Logan yesterday in advance of the new restrictions designed to stop the coronavirus from spreading.

Until further notice, anyone returning from China will be directed to one of seven U.S. airports with expanded health services.

Logan is not one of the airports on the list.
