Massachusetts Congressman Jim McGovern is hailing House passage of the Protecting America's Wilderness Act.
It combines six separate bills designed to help prevent climate change by improving land management and by limiting mining on sensitive public lands.
The Worcester Democrat says the House took strong action yesterday to preserve and protect the country's pristine and beautiful ecosystem.
