The state House is canceling all public events in the near future over concerns about coronavirus.
House Speaker Robert DeLeo says the House itself will remain open for now, and a working group is being formed to evaluate operations.
DeLeo says the top priority is the safety of employees and House members.
Numerous events were canceled this week at the State House because of fears over the virus.
Meantime, the Massachusetts Health Commissioner is promising to update the latest figures at some point today.
Currently there are 92 cases of the Covid 19 virus in this state with one confirmed.
There are two confirmed cases in Connecticut.
