Springfield Police say a shooting victim from earlier in the month has died. Spokesman Ryan Walsh says a person has been arrested in connection with the shooting at the corner of Carew and Chestnut Streets. 22 year old Isaiah Taylor of Springfield has been charged with assault to commit murder and other charges in connection with the incident which remains under investigation. Taylor is apparently also a suspect in connection with a Clifton Avenue shooting from earlier in the week.
