Springfield Has Plan For Homeless

The City of Springfield now has a plan to help the homeless through the Covid 19 Crisis.

Under the plan the city will build three tents for the homeless to access across from the Friends of the Homeless on Worthington Street to deal with their medical needs.

One tent will be for testing and the other will be for those to isolate with symptoms and isolation.

The protocol is a joint venture between the Friends of the Homeless as well as Mercy Medical Center and Baystate Health Center.
