Head Of Holyoke Soldiers' Home On Leave Amid Resident Deaths

As many as eleven residents at the Holyoke Soldiers Home have been killed by the coronavirus. 

Five COVID-19 deaths have been confirmed, while test results are pending for five others, and the cause of death for the eleventh is unknown. In addition, 11 other residents have reportedly tested positive for the virus and 25 more have pending test results. 

State officials say Holyoke Soldiers' Home executive director Bennett Walsh has been placed on paid administrative leave.
