Police and health officials in Chicopee have closed down a flea market that was operating during the coronavirus pandemic against local and state orders.
A Chicopee police officer reportedly discovered the Chicopee Willimansett Indoor Flea Market was illegally operating as a non-essential business.
Apparently, the market said it was closed but was still letting people in. Authorities are looking into possible charges or fines.
