Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi says starting Tuesday an 84 bed First Responder Recovery Facility will go online.
The facility which is called the First Responder Recovery Home will be located at their Pre-Release Center in Ludlow and is for first responders, including doctors and corrections officers that have Covid 19.
Officials say they have received a ton of calls needing a place to go.
The Sheriff says letters went out this weekend to families of first responders.
The Sheriff says Pride, Big Y, Golden Years Home Care and A-L Cignoli are among the supporters.
