A 22 year old Chicopee man is under arrest for allegedly assaulting a 66 year old man.
Police officials say Timothy Lynch was apprehended after reports of an assault on Memorial Drive.
The victim apparently has leg, nose and other facial injuries.
According to police reports, the victim says that the suspect car nearly hit him going through a parking lot.
Later an argument ensued and police say that the fight broke out. Police officers say Lynch returned to the scene and allegedly said that he didn't like the way he was disrespected.
Lynch did get bail, but that bail was revoked when Police Spokesman Mike Wilk says that the defendant became non cooperative.
