Judge: Executive Order Violated Second Amendment Rights

A federal judge is ordering the state of Massachusetts to allow gun shops to reopen.

The judge says Governor Charlie Baker's order deeming gun shops as non-essential infringes on a person's second amendment rights.

U.S. District Court Judge Douglas Woodlock says Baker closing gun shops without a public explanation created an improper burden.

A coalition of gun shops sued the governor over the order last month in an effort to reopen.

There has been no comment from the Governor or Attorney General yet.
