There is a special election today for a state Senate seat. It's State Representative John Velis a Democrat from Westfield, versus Republican John Cain of Southwick for the Hampden and Hampshire 2nd District seat.
The polls will close tonight at 8pm.
Meanwhile, in Hadley, Jane Nevinsmith was elected to the Select Board on Saturday over three other challengers.
