Parks Ready To Open In Springfield

The city of Springfield says all municipal buildings and facilities will re-open to the public by appointment only starting Wednesday as part of the city's initial re-opening plan.

City Hall staffers will be checking temperatures of visitors, and face masks will be required.

City parks and tennis courts are also re-opening during phase one, but playgrounds are staying closed.

Mayor Dom Sarno says that there will be police stationed at parks to insure that there is proper social distancing.
