Springfield Mayor Asks For Peaceful Protests To Continue

The Springfield Mayor Dom Sarno is asking residents to do what they have done in the past and when they protest violence and racism to act responsibly and peacefully. The Mayor and Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood say they are both appalled by the death of George Floyd. And he says he believes there will be justice. Besides the Springfield protest, there are similar protests in Chicopee, Northampton, Greenfield, East Longmeadow, Monson and Amherst among others.
