Big E officials and a West Springfield city task force are scheduled on Monday to talk about the upcoming fair.

Eastern States Exposition president and CEO Eugene Cassidy says that attendance is going to be off as much as 40 percent.
There is concern about whether the fair would be worth putting on with such a large attendance drop-off.
