The Springfield Police Department is investigating after a female victim of a shooting Friday night died from her injuries the next morning.
Officers responded to Oakland Street for a Shotspotter activation and located two gunshot victims.
The other, a male, reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released the name of the victims nor have they announced any kind of a motive yet.
