A surprise from the Chicopee Police Chief William Jebb. The Chief announcing the retirement of Police Officer Michael Wilk from the force.
Wilk was known for his posts on his personal social media page and came under intense scrutiny because of some of them.
Wilk was with the department for more than 25 years and says he had been talking with the Chief about retiring for some time.
Webb says none of the officer's social media posts had anything to do with Wilk's decision to retire.
