Catholic Schools Ready To Reopen Full Time

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield has announced it will return full time to school in the fall.

The Diocese Superintendent of Schools says there is plenty of room within each of the schools within its system and that they may return in the fall. However officials say there will need to be a separate plan developed for Pope Francis in Springfield, the old Cathedral High School.

The protocols will include desks will be six feet apart.

Teachers and Students will wear protective equipment based on age and needs of both. Buildings will also be cleaned frequently.

Although students will be encouraged to participate in the liturgy, all directives pertaining to the Mass will be adhered to.
