Record Setting Heat From Border To Border

It's going to be a hot one today throughout the entire state. The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for today, with the forecast calling for a high of 98 degrees. That would tie the record of 98 degrees for July 27th that was set in 1888. The heat index is expected to make it feel well over 100 degrees, and people should take precautions if they must work or spend a lot of time outdoors.
