Parents, Coaches And Players Ask Whether They Should Get Tested

Parents throughout the area have been asking the same question; "Why are their kids not being tested for the coronavirus?"

The parents say that if you want to be sure that a school is safe that should be a priority. But some other parents suggest that it would be cost prohibitive.

Meantime, the new guidelines for youth sports take effect today. Under those provisions, contact and other high risk sports would have limited contact. Sports like track and golf will go forward as normal.

Massachusetts and Connecticut meantime, have yet to make a final decision as to whether high school football will be moving forward. Some states have opted for a revamped football with seven men and either flag football or two hand touch.
