Ocean State Job Lots is giving local teachers a boost.
They are offering Educator Discount Week at all of its stores August 20th through the 26th.
If teachers present a valid photo ID proving they are a teacher, home schooler, administrator and they will receive a 25 percent discount.
Company officials say the yearly event allows them to show their appreciation to the people teaching our kids.
The program foes into effect in all 140 stores throughout New England and New Jersey.
