Most students under the age of 30 who are attending school or college in Massachusetts must get a flu shot this year.
That is one of the requirements in new rules issued by the state Department of Public Health yesterday.
Anyone attending preschool, kindergarten through 12th grade or college in the state must get the flu shot by December 31st.
Students are exempt if they are only attending classes remotely and will not be present at school at all.
