Morse Accepts Apology From UMass Democrats

The executive board of the College Democrats group at the University of Massachusetts has released a statement about a recent letter to congressional candidate and Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse that was made public.

The UMass student newspaper reported the College Democrats of Massachusetts banned Morse from attending future events because of alleged inappropriate sexual relations with college students.

The UMass College Democrats chapter says it did not leak the letter to the student newspaper and denies allegations of collusion with the Richard Neal campaign.

The board is also apologizing for Morse facing homophobic attacks because of the letter.
