Appeal Rejected In Dennis Rosa Roman Case

The Massachusetts Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of the first degree murder conviction of Dennis Rosa Roman.

He is the man convicted in the Amanda Plasse murder.

His attorneys claimed evidence should have been suppressed as well as at least one juror was improperly removed from the case.

The High Court ruled that the judge has discretion when it comes to allowing the removal of jurors and was letting standing the conviction on all counts.

Plasse was the 20 year old Chicopee woman who was killed in her own apartment back in 2011. At trial, Rosa Roman had claimed that someone else committed the stabbing.
