Cam Newton rushed for a pair of scores in his New England debut as the Patriots beat the Dolphins 21-11 at Gillette Stadium. He was 15-of-19 through the air for 155 yards and added 75 on the ground. The Pats play the Seahawks next on Sunday Night Football.
The Tom Brady era in Tampa is off to a rocky start. The former Patriots star was intercepted twice, including a 36-yard pick-six, as the Buccaneers lost to the Saints 34-23 in New Orleans. Brady threw for 239 yards and two scores, and also ran for a TD.
The Patriots will be in Seattle next Sunday night.
Tampa is taking on Carolina.
