From the State Supreme Court--word that Chief Justice Ralph Gants has died at the age of sixty five.
The Chief Justice in a statement just last week said that he had a heart procedure but expected to recover quickly and make a complete recovery.
Justice Frank Gaziano says that the High Court announced the death of the colleague with “deep sadness.”
