As some other U.S. colleges that have re-opened are struggling with high coronavirus case numbers,
The Five Colleges have reported a combined total of just twenty coronavirus cases so far, according to a report from the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
Fourteen of them are at UMass-Amherst, three are at Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College has two, Smith College one and Hampshire College has not reported any.
UMass, which returned only a fraction of the normal number of students to campus last month, announced last week that asymptomatic virus testing will be offered to all students living in the Amherst area.
