Governor Charlie Baker has announced 171-million-dollars in new aid for Massachusetts renters and landlords.
Baker says 100-million-dollars will go into the main Massachusetts rental relief program.
Close to 50-million-dollars will go towards preventing homelessness and for housing counseling.
Baker says the money will promote household stability, but he's not calling for extending the eviction moratorium expiring this week.
