Baker: Consider Not Travelling For The Holidays To Stop Spread

Governor Charlie Baker says Massachusetts residents should carefully consider their plans for the upcoming holiday season amid surging cases of COVID-19 across the state.

Wednesday, the governor suggested staying home for the holidays, specifically Thanksgiving that's now about a month away.

Baker noted the unpopularity of the sentiment as Americans are becoming increasingly frustrated with stay-at-home orders, mask mandates, and more.

His administration says they are committed to updating the public on any and all trends as far as the virus is concerned, and that he is hopeful we can slow the spread so as not to "ruin" the holidays for families.
