Springfield officials concede that Blacks and Latinos are less willing to get the Covid19 vaccine.
Now city health officials are putting together a massive list of trusted community leaders to get the word out that the vaccine is safe and will protect them.
Springfield Health and Human Services Commissioner Helen Caulton Harris says there is a lot of misinformation that will need to be dealt with by the task force when it is done.
The Task Force is expected to be announced by the mayor at any time.
