Senator Elizabeth Warren and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley want President Biden to cancel student loans for many people.
The lawmakers are calling on Biden to eliminate up to 50-thousand-dollars in student loan debt.
Their proposal would provide relief to 44 million Americans who have federal student loans.
The Biden administration has proposed the elimination of up to ten-thousand-dollars in student loan debt per person.
