Governor Ready To Answer Lawmaker Questions On Pandemic

Massachusetts has sixty more coronavirus related deaths.

That's according to the latest information from health officials, who are also reporting over 17-hundred new cases.

Despite the new numbers, the state health department reports that coronavirus metrics have been trending down over the past several weeks.

Meantime, the Governor is set to testify before a legislative oversight committee that has been critical of the way the state rolled out its website for booking an appointment for the coronavirus vaccine. That website crashed minutes after it went on line.

For his part Baker says that there have been changes for the better made and that the additional on an on-line waiting room will make it easier to deal with.
But the governor says that the only real way to make things better is for there to be more vaccines coming into the state and he hopes that will be just around the corner.
