Massachusetts Easing Restrictions As More People Are Vaccinated

Massachusetts is replacing its coronavirus travel order with an advisory starting on Monday.

The advisory urges those entering the state to quarantine for ten days upon arrival if they've been out of state for more than 24 hours, although it's not mandatory.

Previously, people were required to produce a negative test result, quarantine and fill out a disclosure form for travel outside areas designated by the state as low-risk.

Violators had faced the risk of a 500-dollar-a-day fine.

Meantime, the people at Triple A say that there is a lot of pent up demand to get out and travel and do something rather than to be trapped inside of your home.

The new guidelines kick in on Monday.
