Still No Auto Inspections In Massachusetts

The state's vehicle inspection system is not expected to be back in service until Saturday, at the earliest.

The vendor that operates the state's inspection system is continuing to deal with a malware attack that has crippled its systems nationwide.

A Shrewsbury, Massachusetts company, Applus Technologies reported the malware attack on March 30th, and Massachusetts vehicle inspections have been down ever since.

The state has waived enforcement of expired inspections until the system is back up and running.

Connecticut is the only other New England State that is dealing with the issue.
