A man who killed two Black people before he was killed by Massachusetts police Saturday had a history of white supremacist rhetoric.
Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins says the shooting is being investigated as a hate crime.
The suspect, Nathan Allen, crashed a stolen box truck into a building before opening fire on two people, a retired state trooper and an Air Force staff sergeant.
Investigators say the suspect had written racist and anti-Semitic notes about the superiority of the white race, including that white people were "apex predators."
