Enfield Woman Charged With Double Murder

A woman is now facing murder charges in connection with a double homicide that happened in Enfield.

Police say 22-year-old Harlee Swols attacked 63-year-old James Bell and 72-year-old Maryrose Riach at a residence on Alden Avenue last Sunday.

Bell was pronounced dead at the scene while Riach passed away at a nearby hospital. Swols is the granddaughter of Riach and was taken into custody at the home without incident.

She previously had only been charged with violating an order of protection.

According to the Police report - Swols was found in the home of the crime- with blood on her clothing.
