A Holyoke police cruiser was hit by gunfire with an officer inside on Friday night.
The Holyoke Police Department says the marked vehicle was parked at the city gas pumps on Commercial Street at around 9:30 when a bullet hit the windshield.
The officer was not injured.
No arrests have been made.
Investigating police who are searching for witnesses say the bullet came from the area of High Street.
