Red Sox Last Inning Drama Means ALCS Bound

The Red Sox are onto the American League Championship Series. Boston clinched its spot in the ALCS after walking off with a 6-5 win over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game Four.

The Red Sox scored five times in the third and then not again until the end.

Kike Hernandez drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth.

Garrett Whitlock was credited with the victory after pitching two innings of scoreless relief.

The Sox will face the winner of the series between the Houston Astros and Chicago White Sox.
