In West Springfield--no more mask mandate...just a strong suggestion.
The Board of Health last night hearing the calls to loosen up on the mandate because vaccination rates continue to improve---case load is not immense---and businesses needed a break from residents shopping in nearby communities that had no such mandate.
But that are strongly suggesting that you continue to wear one.
The Mayor says he wants the Board to revist the issue if there is a time that covid numbers climb. But for the time being---business owners say it is welcome news.
