A barbershop in Greenfield is believed to have been used for a regional drug-trafficking operation.
The Northwestern District Attorney's Office says Daniel Rice, who owned Dapper Dann's Barbershop on Chapman Street, was arraigned in Greenfield District Court last week along with his brother Brandon on cocaine-trafficking charges.
Law enforcement conducted a seven-month investigation into the alleged activities which culminated in the arrest of a dozen people total and the seizure of five kilograms of the narcotic.
