School Covid Cases Rise As Governor Says Continue With In Person Learning

The state is reporting more than 41 thousand new coronavirus cases among public school students in Massachusetts in the last week.

In addition, over 73 hundred cases were reported among school staff in the seven day period that ended on Wednesday.

The number of student infections is down by five percent over last week.

More than 900 thousand children attend public school in Massachusetts.

Meantime, Governor Baker says that despite the growing numbers- the kids deserve to be in school and is not backing down from that decision.
