Western Mass May See Foot Of Snow In Some Places

An intense coastal storm that could create blizzard conditions in the east will have less impact in western Massachusetts.

Nevertheless, snow will be heavy at times on Saturday with winds from the north gusting at 30-to-40 miles per hour.

Snowfall totals could range anywhere from a couple of inches in Berkshire County up to a foot in eastern Hampden County, depending on the track of the storm.

Those totals are subject to change.
