Western Massachusetts got measurable snow on Wednesday as the region struggles to enjoy spring weather.
The National Weather Service says five inches of snow fell in Westhampton, Hampshire County, representing the top total in the Pioneer Valley.
In most of the greater Springfield area just a coating to about an inch of snow.
The forecast from the weather service calls for high temperatures in the Springfield area to swing between the 50s and 30s over the next seven days.
