Jayson Tatum made the final bucket at the buzzer to give the Celtics a 115-114 victory over the Nets in Game One.
Tatum sank the game-winning layup to clinch the victory and give him a team-high 31 points. He called it the crowning jewel of his career so far.
Al Horford had a great night on both ends of the floor recording 20 points and 15 rebounds.
Kyrie Irving had a big fourth quarter for his team as he led all scorers with 39 points in a loss.
Nic Claxton had a good game for Brooklyn with 13 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks off the bench.
The Nets will try to even the series at a game apiece on Wednesday when Brooklyn visits Boston for Game Two.
All series now are best of seven.
