A suspect is in custody following a State Police pursuit this morning on the Massachusetts Turnpike in the western part of the state.
The high-speed chase ended around 8:45 a.m. when cruisers surrounded the suspect's vehicle on the westbound side of the highway in Stockbridge.
The turnpike was closed in both direction near Lee and West Stockbridge for about 40-minutes until the suspect surrendered peacefully.
48 year old Kevin Oldaker will be processed on a variety of charges and then brought back to central Massachusetts to face formal charges.
