Springfield Remembers Lives Lost From Covid

Residents from all over the city of Springfield, and for that matter the area came to City Hall last night to remember the lives lost to Covid19.

400 names read, a white bag and a candle placed on the steps of City Hall marked the tragic numbers compiled over a two year period.

Mayor Dom Sarno among the speakers saying that it was important for the community to stop and remember the lives of the people who died.

He said everyone knows someone who lost a battle with the virus and it is important to keep them and their families in the prayers of everyone in the city.
