Thunderbirds Ready For Wednesday Night First Ever Playoff Game

The Springfield Thunderbirds will finally be back in action.

After a first round playoff bye put them on hold for nearly two full weeks, the TBirds will be back in action Wednesday night at the Mass Mutual Center.

Springfield will meet Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the second round.

The Penguins won the decisive game number three against Hershey 4-3 to earn a ticket to the next round.

The schedule is for games one and two to be played in Springfield.

Game three is set for Sunday night in Wilkes Barre.

If necessary game four would be played there as well on Monday night.

Game five would be played in Springfield.
