Springfield School Boss To Stay Two More Years

Springfield Public Schools superintendent Daniel Warwick is having his contract extended until 2025.

Warwick has been the Springfield superintendent for ten years and has been with the district for nearly fifty.

Mayor Domenic Sarno, the school committee chair, said he asked the 67-year-old Warwick to stay for two more years to continue the district's growth, which includes an increase of the graduation rate to 84 percent.
