A reminder that tomorrow in downtown Springfield it is going to be packed most of the day.
A commencement at the Mass Mutual Center, a gay pride parade and rally, then a block party for the Springfield Thunderbirds followed by game one of the semi finals between the Thunderbirds and The Laval Rockets. And, also Saturday night there is a high school graduation.
According to a Police spokesman, "Court Street will be closed from East Columbus Avenue to Main Street from 8:00 a.m. until an undetermined time. Based on the number of people attending the Springfield PRIDE parade additional streets or sections of streets may need to be temporarily closed. The Springfield Police Department is urging visitors to the city on Saturday for any of these events to plan ahead and arrive early."
Parking will be quite tight.
