Vatrano Headed To Ducks In Three Year Deal

East Longmeadow's Frank Vatrano is leaving the New York Rangers.

The Anaheim Ducks have signed the popular forward to a three year contract worth 11 million dollars, which will extend through the 2025 season.

The 28 year old Vatrano, prior to the Rangers, played in Florida, leading them with a career high seven game winning goals.

Last season with the Rangers and Florida Panthers he had 32 points in 71 games.

He helped the Rangers to the Eastern Conference Finals scoring 13 points in 20 playoff games.

The Ducks will start the season with five of its first six on the road.

One of those games, October 20th is in Boston.
