Bishop: Vandalism Was Act Of Intimidation

Police are investigating an act of vandalism at a religious organization in Western Mass.

Pro-abortion messages were found scrawled at the Bethlehem House in Easthampton on Thursday.

The Bethlehem House, which has received support from the Springfield Catholic Diocese, is described as a pro-life ministry for women and families facing a pregnancy crisis.

Springfield Bishop William Byrne said he was very sad to hear about the vandalism, and added that it appeared to have the purpose of intimidation.

There have been no arrests.
